We also offer an 'eco-vinyl' option using leftover vinyl granulate from different colours to give a unique pressing.
In short, custom vinyl records are made using a hand press rather than an automatic press. First, a master cutting and processing step is performed to create the metal stampers used in the pressing. The stampers are then placed in a vinyl pressing machine along with a vinyl puck and the labels. At this point we can add different colours to specific parts of the puck to create a unique effect. The machine operator then applies heat and pressure to melt the puck and form it into the shape of a record revealing the effect. The record is then cooled and trimmed to the desired size. Finally, the record undergoes quality checks and can be customised with artwork, and packaging options to meet your specifications.
